When and where we dance

WHO are we? A recreational folk dance group open to all. No partners needed.

WHAT do we do? Enjoy learning new and reviewing old favorite international folk dances from (in alphabetical order): Albania, Armenia, Assyria, Azerbaijan, Brittany, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Lebanon, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Scandinavian countries, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine. We have an excellent digital collection of international music to which we dance. See our playlist for more details on the NIFD repertoire.

WHEN do we do this? Every Tuesday, 6:00-815 p.m., with easy warm-up dances from 6:00-7:00, teaching from 7:00-7:15, and request dancing from 7:15-8:15. WHAT is the cost? $5.00 per night. Members-$50 per trimester.

WHY do we do this? To learn about other cultures through their village dances.
To exercise our minds and bodies.
To socialize with some of the nicest people on planet Earth.
